This is a custom (like most of things) aluminium fuel tank, made to our specs.

We actually got it a couple of months ago, but didn't have the use for it until now.

Little swirls are there for a more constant fuel supply. The tank is baffled too.

However, bending and welding has caused the aluminium to crack along the egdes...

...and it was quite visibly leaking, on my water leak-down test :-(.

To make it worse, one of the welds on the outlets had a little hole too.

The tank had all the edges welded up, but it still had a leak-hole on the outlet...

...so we used "liquid metal" to seal it up once and for all.
