You don't normally get a chance to look at the engine from this angle ;-).

Motor oil changed with fresh 10W40 oil and Purflux oil filter. Gearbox received a couple of liters of 75W90 as well.

Rear-left caliper seemed to stick, so we got that inspected too.

A week later, when we got some time, we decided to start up both engines together for the first time!

The battery was weak so it needed assistance, but the engines started up without problems - ofcourse! :-)

This was a normal view from our window for many, many days, weeks, months...

Exhaust manifold had a leak around that pipe, so it had to be fixed.

Also, an expansion tank was added...

...as the rear engine cooling wasn't doing it's job properly without it.

Next it was time to construct some side air-intake vents.

An old rear interior side panel trim was used to make a mould.

Side vent moulded... but we were not too happy with it in the end...

...therefore we made some metal ones instead.
