Picture under the boot, quite a bit of rust here. At first I was thinking about leaving it alone, but after a while I changed my mind. Wait and see.. :)

I realised it wouldn't look very good on a trackday-car, and think the 205 gti front will look better, so abandoned the project.

I got the car over on it's side, as I got an urge to remove the rust on the underside.

It seem to be more or less free of rust in front of the petrol-tank, so that's good.

Done some more blasting now, and sprayed on phosphor-acid treatment. In the worst corroded areas you see lots of black dots. It's rust in pores that the sandblasting wouldn't remove. So hopefully the acid treatment will keep it under control for a while.
