Didn't look too bad at all concerning rust, it's a 1984 model after all!

Front view of shell, you can spot some rust in the usual places, especially where the b-pillar meet the sill.

Done some sandblasting removing spot-rust around the welds for the upper right enginemount.

Inside the car, not too much rust here either luckily. Bootfloor has been treated by last owner, I'm removing it later to have a look under the black coating.

Started cleaning under the wheel-arches, quite some work, but well worth the effort.

Some welding, sandblasting and grinding done to the b-post / sill join. Spot weld had not cracked, I added two small MiG welds to strengthen it a bit.

Front part of sill is quite a bit corroded. I blasted and acid treated it, but this rust was pretty deep, so I guess it'll come back in a while. Better change the sill next time.

I've started spraying the blasted and acid treated areas in the enginebay with 2 pac epoxy primer.

The car seem to have been re-painted before, it had some small bubbles around the windscreen. I sandblasted the while circumference to be sure I got rid of all rust.
