After a rather hard fight with this one (309gti beam) I ended up smashing it so hard that the arms came off the shafts :)

I managed to save the TB's and ARB, that was the most important thing after all.

Went to the breakers and got a base model 309 beam and dismantled it.
One shaft was perfect, and the other one you can see in this picture.

Continued with sandblasting the good beam tube.

Pretty much free of rust by now.

But got a little brown color after I used a waterhose gettign rod of the sand.
