decided to make myself a kind of pollution filter..
two-layer kitchen exhaust hood filter cut to suit the airbox inlet shape.

...3cm wide rubber band cut and glued to form outer holding belt, filter comes inbetween, everything fits tightly and neatly together.
plastic holding band just in case.
this should be fair easy to access and replace, preventing grease, bugs, leaves etc. entering the airbox.

two coats of silicon based black matte later...
this type of color is heat resistant to 600 deg, normally used for exhaust systems. me likes using it because it has primer in it, renders primer coat obsolete and dries quickly to very tasty finish

i thought it woud be smart to clean sunroof frame holes with compressed air and then fill them with aluminium anti-seize grease.
no matter of precision help pictured, anti-seize grease ends everywhere! :-)
